Miner's Coalition

Postby Artasid » Mon May 13, 2019 3:42 am

Serving as a small resource gathering squad, the Miner's Coalition pride themselves in harvesting minerals from asteroids, meteors and other orbital bodies deemed too volatile for even more experienced and better equipped mining teams. The Miner's Coalition eagerly accepts these challenges. Their equipment may be sub-par by most standards, but they make the most of what they have available and often times, this proves to be a more cost effective alternative than what most larger industries risk if they send their own teams to these unpredictable mining locations. And if they can't get their frames to mine the minerals safely, they have no issues with sending in their unmanned Drill Drones instead.

Thank you Atavism. It's kinda hard to tell from this picture, but the frames are actually tripods instead of quads. 3 leg instead of 4. Sorry for the misleading image, but it was the best one I had of the group.
Here's an LDD for the 2 frames, plus the cute little Drill Drone for anyone intereseted

I really like the look of these!
I agree with Atavism, something about those cockpits works really well with the leg setup. Cool use of the trans green nexo spear ends for the power chisel!

I dig the noodly arms, they work great for a more labor oriented frame!
