Ra Cailum Class Capital Ship

Postby The Hydromancer » Sun Feb 03, 2019 9:37 pm

Based on the Ra Cailum Class from Char's Counterattack.

The Ra Cailum is capital ship sized at 16 studs long, and comes with two launch catapults, 4 twin barrel main guns, and comm antennas that provide options for multiple system choices. In a very real sense the Ra Cailum is a upscaled version of the Argama even more so than the actual evolution of the Argama, the Nahel Argama.

I'm really happy with how the angled catapults came out, but not so much the front of the ship came out. Will have to revisit.

Those angled catapults are some of the best shaping I have ever seen!

This is truly an amazing model.

I'll indulge in my system-hog behavior and say that it is a d6Rd d6Rd d8Rd for the frontal battery plus the rear guns, plus K K for the twin catapults?

Thanks Vitor, it was fun to puzzle out how to pull it off. I'm sure its really simple skill by general standards but I feel I probably learned more by working it out for myself.

Francisco, that's probably a solid load out. There's always the antenna spot options or swapping the direct dice for arty dice as well. So far I've been building ships mostly as close to the source material as I can get, but there's always customization options as well.
