Great shaping with wedge plates!

Thank you VitorFaria, I usually have a hard time using the larger wing wedge pieces but I'm glad it work out this time.

When the Viceroy class Frigate was first introduced, it was claimed to be an 'All-purpose' frigate, though this was met with skeptics. It's slightly smaller that average frigate size was seen as a disadvantage and a possible liability. Because of this reputation, the Viceroy had little chances to show its true worth.
Until one conflict changed the Viceroys bad reputation.
Outpost Zeinth in the Yeiger star system came under attack by a large Ijadhi battlefleet. The outpost was protected by a natural asteroid belt on multiple sides with a nearby transit gate as it's only entry and exit point. This made the outpost a strategically placed structure, with only a skeleton fleet of ships as additional protection. The defending vessels tried in vain to send signals for reinforcements, but the Ijad had set up a signal scrambling blanket over the entire quadrant, which rendered outgoing signals useless.
The commanding officers believed that in order to bypass the signal blackout to get a destress call out was to pass through the asteroid belt, however, the belt was far too dense for most ships to traverse safely. Captain Garry Bento, who was captain of the fleets only Viceroy Frigate, the 'MaryWeather', agreed to go, believing his ships smaller size would have better maneuvering through the deadly asteroid field. With little difficulty, the MaryWeather traversed the asteroid belt and was able to send a destress signal once it had cleared the effects of the Ijads signal jammer. Four hours later, reinforcements came from the Transit gate, pinning the Ijad force between the battle fatigued defenses of the outpost and the fresh arrivals. The Ijad force was then quickly dispatched and Captain Bento, and the whole crew of the MaryWeather would be heroically decorated for there actions.
Now Battlefleets over the Yeiger system are insisting on having at least 1 Viceroy class Frigate in their company as a precaution of any further situations that mimic the Zeinth Outpost Attack.

The SaishuMe (Translated as 'Last Eye') is a unique Ijad vessel. Several SaishuMe's were responsible for the transmission jammer blanket during the Zeinth Outpost Attack several years ago. Though each were equipped with a Sting Beam Laser, direct combat was not the SaishuMe's focus. Instead their primary purpose was electronic warfare and countermeasures. Equipped with a pair of communication arrays, this vessel is able to interrupt enemy transmissions, and also locate and target vessels outside most ships standard scanning ranges. Paired with long range attack vessels, the SaishuMe has proven to be a deadly support ship for Ijadhi BattleFleets.

I've decided to try my hand at making another Star Wars vessel designs into scale for Intercept Orbit play. I've checked online for ideas on how to brick this one but I was surprised by how few micro/mini builds of this ship appeared. Hopefully this will help bridge that gap.
Also, since VitorFaria has been know to convert Star Wars vessels for IO, if he has already post one of these, then I apologize for stepping on any toes.

This is the Nebulon class B Escort Frigate, also known as the 'Medical Frigate' seen at the end of "The Empire Strikes Back" and throughout "Return of the Jedi". While doing research of this vessel, I discovered this ship was originally meant to be an Imperial Escort for Imperial transport and cargo ships, but several of the Nebulons fell into Rebel hands and converted for their own uses. I am not a Huge Star Wars fan by any means, but I find this little tidbit interesting since most of the Star Wars universe I'm familiar with is through the movies if not much else.

I do apologize if the proportions are off and the color scheme is unusual, but after several test schemes, this was perhaps my favorite. I am eager to hear opinions on this one.

Beautiful Nebulon B, Artasid!

Arguably better looking than the one from the movies, since you made the tight corridor between the front and back sections of the ship more subtle. It looks way more solid and practical!

I'm glad you liked it VitorFaria, and yes, I did have to 'bulk up' the central spine of the ship mainly for the fact that, although 1 stud height would be more visually acturate to the design of the Nebulon B at this scale, it simply did not have the stability to hold the whole build together. I like solidarity in my builds.
For anyone that is interested, I'll even include a LDD file for the Nebulon B. As I stated earlier, I have noticed a surprising lack of mini/micro builds of this vessel (Versus the MILLIONS of X-Wing, TIE Fighter and Millenium Falcon builds out there) when I went searching for a starting point. Hopefully this will help with that gap.

I hope you enjoyed and I would love to see some other variants of this build, if you are willing to share.

Thanks for the excellent building night I was awfully in need of, Artasid!

You are welcome, my friend, and I am glad to have helped in some way. As I also said on the flickr post, I like your color scheme better than my own. Unfortunately I do not have the same colored parts atm. And it is an honor to see other builders interested in what is shared. I thank you.

Here is yet another Star Wars vessel scaled down for Intercept Orbit. I think I've seen others post this in the hanger before but I could not remember, so I decided to post one of my own. I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause (if any)

This one was a fun build, and if anyone is interested in bricking their own, I'll include an LDD file

Yet another Star Wars vessel for Intercept Orbit

Man I've been on a Star Wars binge lately haven't I?

This is not your standard warship, but a High Value Asset (HVA), a GR-75 Medium Transport vessel.

ImageGR 75 Medium Transport

I first noticed this ship as one of vessels that slipped past the Imperial blockade surrounding Hoth in 'The Empire Strikes Back' and seen again throughout 'Return of the Jedi'. This build was rather very easy and uses some common to find parts, no T-Pieces, Taps, or Travis' anywhere! I am half tempted to make some more combat equipped ones later one, but we'll see where it takes us.

But what REALLY surprised me about this build, was that Lego Digital Designer was able to allow me to replicate it's construction without issues. :o Here's an LDD for anyone interested. I HIGHLY suggest taking a look at this one as it seems rather perfect for beginners and newer builders.
