Ditto on VitorFaria's comment and I think the longer/lower-placed arms look better than the original versions.

I wanted the original to look boxy and old school. It helps to make the Advanced look cooler.

These are cool. They remind me of the big aliens with eco suits from Fifth Element.

The first ones look like civilian models used for construction or other industrial activities, hence their blockier look - its like they are bulldozers with legs or something - whilst the latter is like the basic chassis was re-purposed for military duties. If that's what you were going for, I'd say you're telling a nice tale through these models. :)
