Amazing how well integrated that bazooka still looks, even being this ludicrously large!

lol. its funny how a single item on a frame takes all the attention. Luck thing that I intended for the weapon to make such an impact. I wanted to portray the message that you do NOT want to get hit with this thing, and I would have to say it was rather successful. Thanks guys for the support.

I've been on a Chub building spree the past few days and here's the newest one.
This time I wanted to focus more on it's thruster pack, using ideas from a post by The Hydromancers as a starting point:
ImageHorizontal Powerplant compatible jump packs by The Hydromancer, on Flickr

I ended up with something like this

BumbleChub: d6Rd d6Rd Combat Rifle, d6B Riot Shield, d6G d6G Multi Omni-Directional Thruster Pack

Hope you enjoyed and as always, I eagerly await any and all comments you may wish to share.

Another day, another Chub build. This one is more beefy compared to some of the others I've bricked in the past, I'm particularly proud of it's legs/feet

This newest Chub build I'm not quite sure what to call it, so I'm calling it Chub Infiltrator for the moment, until a better name presents itself.

This one has a unique role. It is equipped with the standard Combat Rifle for combat, but it also has an upgraded Hand articulator for the purpose of removing any barricading obstacles, or to remove blast debris from comrades. Lastly, it carries a scout drone on it's back, nicknamed Roller, to scout ahead into areas that may pose too dangerous or too small for a frame to enter. The drones cameras relay its images to the faceplate of the Chub so that the pilot and those nearby can see what the drone sees and plan accordingly to whatever may lie ahead.

Chub Infiltrator: d6Rd d6Rd Combat Rifle, d6Rh d6Rh Hand Upgrade, d6Y Roller Scout Drone.

I really like the idea of using a detachable drone as a spotting system. Nice build!

Sorry guys, had to do it.

Both of them started from a challenge I gave myself of taking yer classic chub and mutating/infecting the heck out of it. Hope you like 'em. They're from my PROJECT: BIOGENESIS squad.ImageImage

Not sure if anyone's done a quad legged Chub before, so here's one that I've bricked

ImageQuadChub
QuadChub: d6Rd d6Rd Combat Rifle, d6B d6B Lots of Armored Skirts, d6G Quad Mobility d8Rr d8Rr 2 Shoulder SSR's

I am particularly proud of this one because the quad legs have a single stud connection to the core and can be easily removed and replaced with standard biped legs for customizations.

Not really a tricked out Chub, just a chibi 4p scale one I wished to share.

That's one of the better micro Chubs I've seen. Nicely done.

Thank you Blorf. It does use a few less pieces than a Standard Chub, but at the same time, uses some of the more harder to find parts, like the 1x1 bracket or the minifig back stud used for the Chub's torso. But if you have the parts, its a decent alternative.

For anyone interested, here's an LDD file for those who may want to brick their own.
Chibi Chub LDD

Here's one more Chibi Chub and this one is perhaps my favorite so far:

The Templed Order is a secluded temple monastery that follows the traditions of many Orient religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, and Shintoism to name a few, though it is speculated that the Templed Order practices many other religions as well to keep harmony and balance. Though the monastery itself is secluded and forbidden to those not of the Order, it is seen as a very holy and sacred place. The Order restricts the use of modern technology, as it is believed to taint one's faith and beliefs, yet despite this, there is one machine that has been viewed as a sacred protector and holy relic of the temple, a Chibi Chub ordained by the first head of the Order
ImageChibi Chub of the Templed Order
Templed Chub: d6Rh d6Rh d8Rh Staff and Ornate Weapon, d6B Spikes, d6G Rear Propulsion, d8G No Ranged Weaponry

This Chub stands as a protector of the grounds, and though it is mostly a ceremonial token, it has seen combat only once since its ordainment. Before the Templed Order had existed, the peaceful village which lays at the foot of where the temple now stands, had been attacked by ransacking marauders that had come to claim the land for their own gain. The villagers had no real defense against the pirate's frames, but it is said that the local monks and worshipers had prayed to the Gods for protection and the Chub arrived in answer to their prayers and fought back the attackers. Those outside the Order do not believe that divine intervention was the origin of the Chub, but stout believers refuse to abandon their faith.

One more Chibi Chub to share with everyone. This one I wanted to give an imposing armored impression and I think I hit it somewhere in the ball park, but I'll let you decide

Not sure how many more Chibi Chubs I'll do, but here's the newest one!

ImageChibi Chub Jumper
Jumper: d6Rd d6Rd Plasma Rifle, d6G High Velocity Jump Pack, d6G Rear Directional Thrusters

Originally I was going to make this a chibi Osprey, but I've already established the chibi Chub cuteness in this one. The connection of the arms into the torso is a bit more complex than the other chibi Chubs of the past, but not all together a bad variant.

I hope you enjoyed and as always, I eagerly await any and all comments you wish to share.

Chub Mark A, from the Colonia II system. A modest update to the Chub to address joint and stability issues in the legs, the Mark A is the standard UMFL mobile frame on the planet. Seen here is the maximum assault load-out, otherwise known as the Crazy Ivan. The Ivan intended role is second in a stack, moving from cover to cover just behind the point frame. Once the point frame has spotted the enemy forces (both literally and figuratively) the Ivan's job is to plow straight into an enemy frame formation, unloading with rockets ( d8Rr d8Rr d8Rr )as it rapidly ( d8G ) closes the distance. Once in melee range it will drop the bazooka or put it away and draw its rocket assisted duo plasma edges scythe ( d6Rh d6Rh d8Rh ), cutting enemies down to size while relying on its folding shield and spiked shoulder armor ( d6B d6B ) to keep itself going.
