Memory Dump - Spaceships

Postby Alexial » Sun Sep 16, 2018 12:05 pm

So... I still haven't read the rules to IO. But before finding out about MFZ, I was a huge tiny spaceship builder. This post is a memory dump of the ships that I've made before coming to MFZ.

Note: As I haven't read the rules, I'm not going to classify any of these ships. If someone wants to, great, but this post is mainly meant to inspire other ship builders.

Additional Note: For all the ships titled 'MicroShips', there are some pieces that mean things on those ships. The trans dark grey cheese slope indicates a cockpit, the antenna indicate repair arms of some sort, and any other trans pieces on those ships that aren't cockpits are engines/thrusters.

Now, moving into the ships that don't use those pieces:

C&C welcome, though these ships probably won't change except to scavenge parts.

Slap some 8x8 and 8x4 bases under them and you're set for some great IO action!

Very creative ship builds. I like the intricate building techniques. Some get a bit busy, but with a base and on the table they are probably still awesome!

The yellow venus one looks like a worker drone, or viewed from the other direction like engine exhausts. Very sleek.
My favorite is the pirate ship!

Thank you! The reason that some of the ships look so busy is that (especially for the red Mars one) there's one main base with a bunch of smaller things that can detach, and I didn't work that hard to integrate the parts in except in specific ships.
