*RELEASED: MASSIVE Compilation of frame instructions

Woah, this took me forever! :? As discussed in this thread here, I've been putting together a big book of step-by-step building instructions for every frame I could get my hands on. Between a lot of medical issues, a busy work schedule, and suddenly beginning the home-buying process, I got backtracked quite a bit.

But I did it; I put together a 400+ page book of frame instructions in alphabetical order, along with a separate 100+ page book entirely of neoaez's awesome designs, collected into one printable book. There are a lot of community favorites in here, and some lesser-known works that I thought deserved some recognition. I tried to include as many styles as I could, from simple beginners' builds to crazy-complex expert project. Every single frame is credited to their original builder. There's a table of contents for anyone who wants to print this massive thing, but the whole pdf is meticulously bookmarked so you can just skip to whatever frame you wanna build.

The file is quite large: about 180Mb. I just couldn't compress it any smaller without losing image quality. Be prepared!

This one's a much more reasonable 14Mb.

Right now, it's hosted at my Mediafire account. If we run into issues, maybe it will move to a home with less ads or faster downloads or whatever, we'll see. Hopefully the community can make use of this. I know I have already! 8-)

Please enjoy, spread it around, and please let me know if there are any problems at all: missing or improper credits or names, messed-up pages, issues with the link, whatever. Hope you MoF0s find it useful!

Wow that's a lot of frames, if anyone else got linked to the pdf directly just delete "view" and type instead " download" and that will let you download the files. But seriously thanks to you for bringing together all these frames and thanks to all those who made the frames in the first place

Thanks, fixed the links. There are a LOT of frame instructions in there, it's true. Most of them were assembled from lxf files and put together in photoshop, which took foreverrrrrrrrrrrr but was worth it because the book came out well. I have a printed copy and it's awesome.

Edit: sweet, almost 100 downloads so far. The thread has been quiet so I was wondering if people were grabbing it. Cool!

My original plan was to do a book of ship designs as well (because we've seen some amazing ones so far). But then I realized how much more complicated most of the ships were and putting together clean PDF instructions would be a nightmare... there are like 100+ steps for a lot of my favorite ship builds and there's no way I can parse that down for 30+ models. Easier to collect the .lxf and just release a pack of those (and I have been collecting).

It has been my experience that you will hear from one in every hundred readers, maybe even less than that. This is one of the biggest gifts anyone has given to this community, I hope you understand how many people the silence represents.

I posted about this on my blog, and Shaun says thank you.

And again, from me, thank you.

Yeah. Comments in relation to content tend to be few and far between.

Also, what you have listed as the Grand Naga is actually the Sand Naga.

I noticed a few that I worked on [Soren's stuff from the errata] has the pieces that need to be removed still. There's a few connections in LDD that I couldn't get to sit correctly.

High Hand has one extra 1x1 round in red which should be removed.
Scuttler has 1x1 rounds in WHITE that should be removed when assembled.

Thanks! I knew something was wrong with that but I couldn't trace the name when I looked it up. It's embarrassing because it's one of my favorite models  (It's a centerpiece in my usual army).

I will look into fixing this; I hope people figure it out in the meantime.

So far there are 2000 downloads, which is... way more than I expected. That rules!

Media Fire is still terrible. Let me know if you want me to host a copy of this thing on Thor.

Also, the "Stumpy" is actually called the Rufus, but no biggie.

Yeah, mediafire is terrible for sure; I just happen to have an old account with them. Please feel free to host it yourself and I'll spread the links around. Thanks!
