Yay! :)

I am currently working on a refinement of that 'Frame, but for now ... that's it. If you need different angles, let me know.

If I can get the time this weekend, I'll take pics of my more "unique" frames with load-outs.

I have a "snakebot" design with a fully articulating tail; a fairly cool frame with a "jump jet backpack" and ankle elevons; and my take on a walking tank complete with a turreted canon for a "head" (angle- and elevation-adjustable artillery) and halberd (2xHtH = Rd8).

(Note that the latter is probably a terrible frame loadout: artillery, armor, and HtH?! What was I thinking?!?)

[Oh, man, those icons are HUGE. Any chance they could be scaled down a bit, the better to work in-line with text?]

Well there is one more spot, so if you can upload a pic of one of your frames it is all yours.

Yah, I am ... working on that. Right now, they are 55px x 55px - which is way too big. 25px x 25px works way better. Trying to get a hold of schoon to figure this out.

Shimplor gets the 5th and final entry for the ...contest I guess? anyway...

I have completed mittenninja's Grand Naga. and here it is in all its glory. (Obviously I had to take some creative liberties with the design, or else I would just be drawing legos)

check out the orginal one here -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/mittenninja/6900604286/

Hope you guys enjoy this and I can't wait to get started on the next one!

remember at the end of all this I will be taking one into photoshop and fully rendering it up! So somehow we gotta vote on which one we want, but for now thanks to all your guy's support in this thread

I shall shamelessly appropriate the other!
The one on the left, please.
I'll be happy to supply other angles, etc: sending me a PM is probably the easiest way to get me to notice.

EDIT: Late...night...reading...fail. Missed this entire other page. Sorry!

That, sir, is pretty darn badass! I really dig the cockpit and the sword! By far my two favorite interpretations.

That's quite a spiffy interpretation, there. Good job, Vandrid.

On another note, perhaps the topic would have a more proper home in the fan fiction/fan art section.

I am really interested to see how my pic turns out, your style is very rounded Vandred, and my mech is fairly blocky.

Hey forged, can I get another angle of your frame? I can't really see the legs from theat photo.

Also how do the shields deploy? Do they just go in front or are they put in the ground? How do those things work?

Here is with the barriers down. From the front you only see a thin strip including the cockpit. The arms are meant to move like a mantis arm.
