I for one think it would be awesome if Ijad-inhabited humans had segmented, chitinous antennae mixed in with their hair. The antennae would be just like human hair, so you could grow, cut, curl, tie, or braid it without it being like getting punched in the nose, but it would look like a bug's antennae.

Those long antennae are their ranged eating and sensing apparatus. They can hear, see, smell, feel, and taste with them. their senses by themselves are pretty weak, though; they're mostly used for finding new hosts when they're solitary.

Or what sort of feel do the names generally have (in relation to actual earth-names...i.e. Cayden is a Celtic feeling name)? I'm writing up my company roster, and there's at least one Ijad-bonded human in it, so I'd like to have the Ijad's given name at least sounding canon.

For that matter, what is the plural of Ijad? Just Ijad, or something else?
