Attaching files to my post

I want to attach my .ldr files for the buildings I have posted, but i get "The extension ldr is not allowed."

How can i upload the ldr files? Should I change it to .txt and upload that?

I messaged schhon about that, to make *.ldd and *.ldr files legal for upload. Until then, you either rename it to *.txt or you upload them somewhere - or eMail them to me at me [at] ced23ric [dot] de, and I upload them for you.

For the moment, I'm going to keep the file restrictions in place. I need to look into the risks involved before I open things up.

You can just allow the 2 file extensions and there shouldn't be any issues that I can think of.

Yupp. No more risk than *.txt has. In the end, if someone renames a *.exe to *.txt, it'll be just like a *.ldd ofr *.ldr - nothing will happen, per se. And *.ldd.exe can't be uploaded anyway.
