Critical Move

This a house rule that we made pretty much out of laziness when we used to use an actual office ruler instead of the hinged one.

If a frame has a and it gets a 6, it can move a full ruler (8).

It was created in a really natural and organic fashion:
"-Hey, I've got a 6! Can I move a full ruler?
-Sure, why not?"

We played a lot of games with and without this house rule and we concluded that it didn't change the game all that much.

So yeah, just posting to keep it documented if someone wants to try it out.

Did you just have frames with keep their standard movement without some sort of bonus?

I like this house rule A LOT! I have also started a DnD campaign just recently, so crit roles are very much on my mind at the moment.

I noticed rather quickly that a frame not benefiting from a cannot move a full ruler length. Because of this, I play with a ruler where the 6th segment is colored differently so I have a visual signifier for maximum moment those frames can move. I would also use this to measure the possibilities of movements for frames (friendly an enemy alike) and strategies accordingly. This rule can help simplify that planning, and I also like the idea of giving frames the possibility to move around the board more.

I am going to start playing with this. (so long the people I'm playing with agree ahead of time)
