As soon as the most current version is out, with the changes mentioned, I'd like to add this (with proper credit) to the pages of MFZ:COre, aswell. Resource pooling, yay!

Here's the fourth version :

http://www.cedric.maria-sube.com/img/projects/mfz/SimpleDemoRules/MFZ_SimpleDemoRules_4.jpg

If no show stoppers are found, I'll develop it in A4 and US Letter format. Would anybody need another format?

And feel free to use this for demos or other game elements ;).

Sweet infographic, ced. It it just me or is the second red die icon for each load out fuzzier than the one above it? :|

It's pretty tall; would it translate to u.s. legal size well?

@spacemonkey : Good catch! I tried a quick fix, but the problem remains. I used the forum icons, since they're bitmaps, the issue might come from that. I'll vectorize them and see if that works better ;).

@jugglervr : My source file is mostly vector graphics, so resizing won't to much of an issue. I just wanted to validate the content before playing with the layout ;).

Swap out the hyphen for an em dash.

You don't have the d8G that the melee frame gets, other than that looks great man!

On that topic, you might want to put the weapon systems at the top, and the movement system(s) at the bottom, so they'll be grouped a little more.

Weapons bring two red dice to the pool.
Green d8 are free and come from having no ranged weapons.

All of those frames have, as MK already pointed out, 4 systems.

Can I just get this embarrassment deleted? I had a total brain fart and realized it when I went to work.

Is there a different suggestion for two players? I ran this with my son who I am introducing to the mechanics slowly and it felt pretty hollow. At least three players can use each others' spots and have a variety of targets. With two it was just an exercise in shooting whichever was in range.

Afterward I decided we'd play four frames each with three rounds. 1 station each and one unclaimed in the middle. That was much more tactically satisfying with choices that made a difference—but took longer than I'd guess people would want a demo to last. Maybe there's something in between?

I think what you're describing is a symptom of the game in general, not just the demo rules. Multiple opponents is far superior to one on one combat.

Of course with more frames you can at least use the spots more often.
