There are plenty of plantigrade frames, but only a few are true humanoids, with well defined head, torso and limbs.

To both of your points, I rarely build fully humanoid frames. I'm much more likely to have my bipeds headless. Maybe there's something in that about being hard to get right, but for me I think it's mostly about designing something believably practical. But I might be in the minority on that as reasoning.

As a separate appendage easy to swap, repair, and customize, I like a head for standard sensor and tactical computers. They're also an easy white dice element.

For survivability and lack of "low clearance" risk to valuable systems, I like a headless frame.

Here's an LDD file and rendering of an old random frame I did a long while back.

Here's one more version!

Slower pace this week with only five new frames, three by me and two by Pheyze, but a small iterative step is still a step and I'm proud to have it here.

Still thinking the best way of including MK's indexes, they will be there in the next versions.

Bump the quote by Blork on to the preceding page then put the index in its place.

I know its just a Chub mod, but thought I'd throw in the current base Chubdam model.

Might need to LDD up some of the fancier models while I'm at it. Open to suggestions.

Hey, I put a chub mod in too, and it's probably even simpler than yours :D
I think a few chub mods in there is a good thing. Seeing the different ways to change the base frame is really interesting and good for new players

I would love to do the instructions for your Chubdam! One problem, though - it's in .io, and we need .lxf files for Blueprint. :( Can Stud.io export files as .lxf?

Be prepared to replace some parts that magically vanish in this process. For some reason certain tiles and slopes didn't make the transition.
