Also definitely soliciting for volunteer prizes, you can still enter the contest, but the more volunteers I can get the bigger the contestants pool will get, I imagine.

Nicely done, Shades. Just needs a big grin and a bushy tail.

I laughed out loud. I hope there are lots of terrified civilians in this thread.

Thanks guys! Might try a 3 wide later as that makes more sense to me but not sure about the cockpit.

That was my favorite part of the fluff, too. Brilliantly done container cage!

The warranty is great! I originally wanted to use minifig hands for the feet but that isn't an option in LDD :( but I think the bar with grip worked out better for Milli.

From the image I was expecting a water exploring Frame! Good job VitorFaria.

I can almost see it as a mini frame for IO. Most definatly a needed frame for aircraft. Well done indeed VitorFaria.

The fluff allowed me to very vividly imagine this popping up at the climax of an Anime episode. Great job with the build Vitor!

Thanks for the comments, guys!

Interestingly, Shades, the idea of this build actually started as an aquatic frame, but it slowly evolved in my head into an aerial one before I actually started building it. Mostly because I have plans for a different aquatic frame and I don't want to repeat myself too much.

I'm glad that the minimalist fluff was enough to convey what I wanted. A non combat frame can still be part of a crazy action scene!

This concept of having a single thread to comment all builds annoy me a little bit, but I'll see what I can do.

  • That bus frame is a fascinating concept, I may take the spirit of that idea on a future build. Pure transport frames are in itself an interesting theme.
  • Having a skiing frame really tugs me on the inside. The Ski Throwbot/Slizer was my first Lego robot ever and an important part of my childhood!
  • Cargo labor frames aren't that unusual, as the Alien's Power Loader is one of the most iconic mechs on the west. but you really gave that idea a completely new spin, Artasid! I love the upside down "head" between the legs. That build could be converted into an interesting IO HVA.

First, I'd like to thank pythoner6 because he used a technique for his first frame that inspired the leg and arm build of my newest submission, so I hope that doesn't pose a problem, and if it does, then I humbly request my Res-Que frame be disqualified.

Secondly, I'm not quite sure my Res-Que frame actually qualifies as a non-combat frame because of the potential for military use it has. I just liked the idea of a repair frame with different utilities able to come to the aid of other frames that are unable to get to a repair bay/hanger, kinda like how autoparts shops have tow trucks and whatnot. But I liked it enough to share it here.

Either way, I hope you enjoyed

Artasid, thank you for your earnestness, but this is meant to be fun, and what rules there are are to point our creative energy in a novel direction and make my life easier when it's time to hand out ribbons. Liberal borrowing has never been a problem, and your tow truck is certainly in the spirit of the competition.

And of course, thank you for participating!

I have very little self-control. Loving what has come up so far, looking forward to what else may come, thought I'd drop a little bump and maybe some inspiration your way before I start stealing designs to add guns to.
