Star Wars Sets and Minifigs
Brickset has additional sets in an Italian PDF
Pricevortex has even more images of the 2016 offerings.

My biggest takeaway is that we're going to have to figure out a really good use for those stud shooters. They're ubiquitous at this point.

Might be time to revive the Frame Chef.

Those "Ultimate" Nexo Knights sets look like good part-packs for building weapons. Also the best candidates I've seen so far for "minifigs that could be fielded as frames."

Dr. Peter Venkman: What do you think, Egon?
Dr. Egon Spengler: I think this building should be condemned. There's serious metal fatigue in all the load-bearing members, the wiring is substandard, it's completely inadequate for our power needs, and the neighborhood is like a demilitarized zone.
Dr Ray Stantz: Hey. Does this pole still work?

Dr Ray Stantz: Wow. This place is great. When can we move in? You gotta try this pole. I'm gonna get my stuff. Hey. We should stay here. Tonight. Sleep here. You know, to try it out.
Venkman looks at Spengler. Spengler slowly shakes his head. Venkman turns to the real estate agent
Dr. Peter Venkman: I think we'll take it.

Imagenew piece maybe

I've circled what I believe may be new pieces. I still don't have any clue what exactly is going on at the dragon's nose, but I definitely like that new gun looking dealie that Batman's got going on!

That white sword-hilt is a Djinn Blade, the obligatory collectible weapon for this season of Ninjago. I think, although I'm not sure, that that grappling hook is the same piece as Aaron's bow in Nexo Knights.

Also, I wonder how they plan on stuffing a six-shooter inside a cone? Unless that's just a placeholder for something. A lot of the Ninjago images look kinda prototype-y to me.

The Brick Blogger has confirmed that we'll be getting Plate 1X2 Ball / Friction End in Mixels from Series 7 and Series 8 and in 30422 Ninjago polybag. The part is clearly visible in the image below as the legs.

About time! This part should be in the system from the start, I wonder why they delayed it's production, maybe they feared that the Mixels wouldn't catch on?

Well dang. That mech is awesome (and another perfect candidate for a mini-fig scale Mobile Frame).

I'm going to need the King's sword. That is such an awesome piece. I'm also intrigued by the spoiler on the detachable ship-arm. It looks like it would be good shoulder or leg armor.

I'm still not 100% on the Nexo theme though. This might be the year that I graduate to spending most of my budget on Bricklink.

Also check out the ball joint connection at the end of the stud shooter hose nozzle on the new fire truck (60107).

Looks like some of the new Fire sets have studs-with-rod-holes in translucent orange. Interesting.

I hadn't noticed that. Good catch.

If they're moulding in trans-orange now, I wonder what other colors we're getting next year.

Here's an interesting article on the evolution of a Nexo Knights set. It includes pictures of some of the upcoming minifigs.

Wait! What?
"...the new shooter part..consists of just the 'Mixel' ball joint with a short 3.18 bar projecting out..."

I need about 1,000 of these immediately.

And this!

We already knew about the mini-robot, but it's so amazing to see it up close and personal. Maybe better than a droid torso.

*sigh* I really didn't want to buy into this line. I wanted to take it easy in 2016. LEGO is making it really hard to be responsible.

There's no reason a non license theme should be this expensive. :(

If it ever comes to Brazil it will cost millions. I'm out.

Well, that does it. It's Bricklink for the parts then I guess. Maybe I can grab a set of two if they go on sale.
VitorFaria wrote:There's no reason a non license theme should be this expensive.

There are a ton of new parts in the line and LEGO has to recoup the cost of the moulds somehow. I think there's been some general price creep too. The 2015 city line was quite expensive on a per-part basis.

Good news! Apparently those were Canadian prices!

The City line is always expensive. If they'd learn to stay away from boats and planes with giant molded pieces they might be able to make them at a more reasonable price.
