The Hangar of the main website is now live for those who use LDRAW files!

Enjoy!

(I'm still figuring out the best way to properly credit the authors - props and kudos to come!)

Well, the people who make the LDraw files should make sure their names are in the comments section of the model anyways.

I donno if you want to add my Bulldog design probably under "Other":

Looking at the Hangar page, I'd add a line of text under each LDraw thumbail with the name of the frame and a "by <Author>" next to it, with a link to their forum profile maybe? Or their Flickr page, or something.

In some ways there is a double author. The "lego" design and the person who did the CAD work. Maybe both should get credit (clearly the lego designer first).

There is also the person that uploaded the .ldr. This is not always the person who created it. So: "designer", "modeler", "uploader". I'd also be interested in a "source" field for a URL linking to the original (usually an image someplace).
