Time I introduced myself. I'm another New Zealander who's keen to see the MFZ rules released. I've been war gaming on and off since I was 15 (I'm now 43). I've played the inevitable Games Workshop games (40k, WHFB, Mordheim and Necromunda) but moved on from them about a decade+ ago (stupid prices). Now I enjoy Indie skirmish rules like 'Pulp .45 Adventure' as well as some newer war games like 'Flames of War', 'Dystopian Wars' and older systems like 'DBA'. Really I just enjoy assembling and painting armies as well as making terrain.
I've got two sons, 8 and 4.5 and a reasonable Lego collection. I've happily played with the kids + Lego for years now, but in a fairly undirected manner. No idea how I missed Mechaton but I'm fantastically keen for MFZ. I've been building frames and terrain since I discovered the Kickstarter project. As well as building stuff I'm also trying to capture the more interesting designs in MLCad so I don't have to try rebuilding them from photos.
