Over the weekend, chrome's "suggested articles" actually showed me something I was interested in, Kokusai Tsushinsha. Ltd is releasing a VOTOMS wargame: https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/ ... oard-games

And here's Tsushinsha's official website for the game: http://www.votoms-tactics.com/

Looks like it could be interesting, with ATs having large datacards, separate cards for pilots and what looks like a deck of action cards. But it appears that like previous VOTOMS wargames, this is only going to be released in Japanese. There will also be a limited edition run of minis: Scope Dog; Butish Dog; Strike Dog; & Fatty, which I wouldn't mind getting a hold of.

Woah, that looks amazing, too bad whoever owns this fails to see us as a profitable market to cater to.

That looks great! Hard to tell from the images, but it doesn't look like that much to translate from Japanese.

Looks interesting. Wonder if R.Talsorian would make the effort to translate and import it as they did a Votoms rpg back in the day.

I don't think R. Talsorian's VOTOMS rpg was a translation of a Japanese rpg, I believe they developed it themselves using their house system. I think they did have a license to import a Japanese Gundam rpg a while back, but I think that's lapsed.

And at about 40 minutes into this video, Mike Pondsmith talks about their VOTOMS rpg and states that it was written for R. Tal by an American writer (maybe Paul Sudlow?): https://youtu.be/IcWKCnZ17kM
