"Front Mission" was pretty much FF Tactics / Disgaea for Mechs. I highly recommend the series. (Tho I guess there is a new one on steam that isn't that at all.)

War Robots is probably the closest video game to Mobile Frame Zero. The priority is claiming beacons (stations), any group that doesn't focus on this some how will lose if the other team is (which usually only needs be two Mecha claiming).

Mostly either this f2p fps called Hawken, or this f2p sandbox 3ps known as Robocraft. Both are very, very fun, even if they're mostly dead. Hawken is really easy to pick up since it's well-balanced, and while Robocraft is the exact opposite, it's still fun enough that I've logged a good 902 hours of it on Steam. Playercount has gone up since last month when the developers stopped updates on it.

I will second the notion of Mechwarrior Online if anyone mentioned that, though, as it's probably the most similar to MF0. War Robots, as Shades_corvid said, is similar, but the ability to have multiple robots that you switch between on death is the one thing that makes MWO more similar.

EDIT: This is a screenshot of Robocraft. I replicated my FC-7 Stalker design in it. It has lock-on rockets and active camouflage. Playing Robocraft again, I remembered just how similar it is to MF0:RA.

Isn't Hawken dead by now? D:

As for myself, I've beaten Shogo: Mobile Armor Division for the second time, mostly because I am on my old laptop that doesn't have enough horsepower for most modern games.

Well, PC Hawken is officially gone, but I play XBOX One HAWKEN and it’s only dead if you use auto matchmaking. Server Browser usually has a good match or two.

That's just sad. It was such a cool game.

It's still fun, and the console versions have some new stuff not found in the original PC version. Actually, just after posting my 7p Assault yesterday, I made a slightly larger 10p Berserker and then played a few matches.
