Dragon Hunter SSC

Postby Aardvark17 » Sat Sep 29, 2018 5:49 pm

I got my hands on the recent Ninjago Dragon Hunter polybag, which has some really great parts so I figured I would try my hand at an SSC.
Messing around with the rounded 1x2 plates was great, and this set has great parts for MFZ. I had a lot of good arm, leg, and torso ideas before settling on this, which i was not expecting at the beginning but turned out pretty neat. A lot of the set's good parts, especially those blades, were left over, but personally I would use outside parts to give this one more systems.

I must say this is very well done with the limited pieces. The way you connected the legs and arms especially are a nice touch. If this polybag ever comes avalible in my area I will most difinitly be getting several to make a squad of these. 8-) Excellent job

Woah, those are pretty much a frame in a bag, wish I had access to them!

Nice SSC, I dig the "stinger" weapon!

As promised, once this set became available in my area, I would construct a company of this SCC.

I did do a little upgrading to each one with parts left over from each set. They are still a Single Set Challenge, and the overall core build is the same as Aardvark17s original SSC, just with a few added details, like the silver teeth plates on the feet to give them slightly better stability, a more detailed head, and slightly altered arms.

Hope you enjoyed and as always, I eagerly await any and all comments you wish to share.

I'm still so freaking jealous, would love to see some of those white boomerangs here!

These are awesome Artasid! You've made some great additions, especially with the tooth feet and shields. Funnily enough, I ended up creating a similar sword with the parts in the set after I photographed it :D
