MMMIG: "When is a Frame Not a Frame?" Edition

Postby phayze81 » Sun Sep 02, 2018 7:17 pm

No, this month's challenge isn't a riddle, or a new koan that I've been grappling with. It's the result of a really fun discussion that happened on the Discord a few weeks ago regarding the line between "mech" and "not mech". I'm sorry if you missed it, because it was great.

Anyway, in the spirit of that discussion I'm once again branching the MMMIG out a bit to include mechanical designs that aren't "Mecha" in the traditional sense, but would still make for pretty cool MFZ game pieces. Do you have strong feelings about this idea? Let me know!

Hit up the source link to find more equally awesome, tank-adjacent mobile devastation machines by the same artist. There're some really choice designs that are quite worth a look.

Look close, get inspired and build something!

Went a little less sci-fi but a little more frame scaled.

Sliding in just a bit past the last minute, this thing fits the theme pretty well, although I wanted to do something more dedicated. But alas, time has not been my ally.
