MCF-16 Shieldmaiden

Postby Mark Sakura » Thu Nov 30, 2017 5:03 am

So, I was fiddling around with a Nexo Knights shield and this happened.

MCF-16 Shieldmaiden:

I seem to be on a recent trend with my frames, where they're really simple to explain with a cutaway.

Heavy Shieldmaiden:

Using a villain's shield requires a significantly different torso, and the rock theme doesn't work all that well on a mech, but I think this is still interesting enough to share.

Grand Shieldmaiden:

Initially, I was trying to make the Shieldmaiden a full-on femmebot, but I don't think it works unless I increase the size beyond proper MF0 size limits. Also tried a different lower-leg design for the two regular Shieldmaidens.

Looks pretty cool, though.

Love these! The half-covered tile eyes are inspired and the Grand Shieldmaiden with the BB butt based blasters is wicked cool. Great work as usual!

I love the name and the design. I have two WiP variants on this sitting on my desk right now.

Some really nice work. I think the center Grand Shieldmaiden really pulls off a femmebot look
