Been meaning to finish revamping the rest of the Gundam OO inspired Chubdams once i finished Braver, but I began running low on crucial parts again. While waiting for the next Bricklinks order I decided to play around with some unusual stuff I had lying around, and stumbled on these dragon cloth wings. I had always intended to use them as GN Wings for a Gundam O build, but decided the color might compliment the Duelist better.

In addition to the wings, the Duelist got the updated GN Drive from the Braver, rear skirt thrusters, modern Chubdam shoulder armor, improved shoulder mounts on arms for the dual shields/sniper rifle, head mounted sniping sensor, new frontal skirt armor, and a new flying leg pose.

Sadly I had to steal the stand from another frame; need more of those polybags!

Xercule Chubdam 2.0, a revamp much needed.

Added all the modern Chubdam bits, fixed the horrible original solar panel array, added the solar powered Wave Motion Cannon, and added some fun new shoulder thrusters. I really like the way the shoulders came out, so I'll probably play with them more in future builds. As much as the old build was a rough design, I think the original rifle and harmonica beam shield held up really well.

Thanks, I was hoping the rounded end would let the stud tilt further for a more varied look, but it gets loose very quickly the further you push it. I have a few more on hand (on foot?) so I'll definitely continue to play with the design.

Oh, I love this so so much!! The rifle and harmonica cannon are spot on, and the satellite cannon is AMAZING!

It's hard to pick a favorite, because all Chubdams are so lovable, but this one just might be number one for me.

Much appreciated! I usually find that the latest build is always my favorite, but I see this guy being a strong contender for a while yet.

Decided to end the year on a high note; Stark Jegan style. I rarely break down my Chubdams for new builds, but my Chubdam Sniper never quite felt right. As my obsession with the Stark Jegan grows, it was inevitable I'd give it the Chubdam treatment, and the older Sniper base was a perfect start. Custom Mass Produced suits will always have a special place in my heart, and the Stark Jegan is perfect example.

Its at this point I'm really starting to regret that I can't fit as much detail to really distinguish between different styles of Gundam heads without resorting to painting. Thinking of experimenting with tiny bits of colored electrical tape for the GM and Jegan inspired builds, but that's a task for another time.

Simple clip and tap as antenna, nice!

I have tried it before but for some odd reason it didn't feel this right, might give it another shot!
