My Single Set Challenge builds from the Lixers, the third tribe from Series5 Mixels.

Thoughts:
- The Charging Tick is barely 7P, might look better as a large 4P, but I like the shape and stance. The 2x2 technic pin plate allows for the leg base to be off 45degrees from the body. Using offset like that and what I did on 41515 can really open up your options when working with limited parts.
- I wish there were just a few more parts in 41543 to fill out the legs on the Spying Stork, but I think it looks it's mobile scout role: big open cockpit, tall legs, no armor. Happy to get a workable station from this set too.
- 41544 has a few too many larger pcs leading to the oversized legs. But the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. I imagine it to be a labor frame with the plasma cutters to be standard DIY store fare in SC 0245. The breastplate basically being a workers protection apron and the big legs for increased heavy construction durability. The big legs also reminded me of Chris Sanders art style, so I went with the name Gantu.

C&C solicited as always!

Also, if you found yourself here without looking at Lorc's/thoastamblyn's great Mixels Series 5 SSC's you should go check those out too!

The charging tick is a real cutie. What a nice clean appearance it has from above. Smooth clear head and solid-looking weapons as well. It barely has any of the SSC look about it.

The spying tick has nice weapon pods too. I really struggle with guns when I'm doing SSCs so it's impressive to see them done so well on these.

And Gantu's got a great silhouette. I'd never have considered giving a frame 2*4 legs like that, but you pull it off well. I like the pecs. Nice splash of red too. With the symmetrical right-angled arms, it looks a bit battletech to me. Nifty.

PS: Whee i got namechecked :D

A great build I absolutely had to share here. While not intended for MFZ, this would make a great frame. It's a combo build with parts from all three Lixers sets, not a true SSC, but very cool nonetheless.

Ooh, what a lovely shape it has. And the underslung guns look great. I want to say they're lightning guns?
