Decided to play around with the Sniper variant I had around my desk to vent some stress tonight, re-armoring it again.

Going for some "classic Lockon" feel, but with some modern tweaks and asymmetrical styling, and of course, taking some gun ideas from Ryan, the Fortune Lockon was born!

That pose is !HOT! So much attitude, I love it!
Water is patient.
Water just waits.
Wears down the cliff tops, the mountains.
The whole of the world.
Water always wins.

Thanks, I didn't throw a kneeling pose together in a while, they sure have a nice impact!

So I wanted to make my own Lockon mech and here it is.

Sorry again for the bad photo quality. The only thing I really changed is the forearms, the feet and the big claw. I don,t really have the know-how or parts to make this, but I had the Unicorn Banshee Gundam in mind when I made the claw, and if anyone wants to use my claw design for a unicorn banshee frame, go ahead.

Amazing to see your take on it, Mrtyler603!

It really looks nothing like I have ever built, your own style sure shows!

I really like the new forearm ideas!

Thank you.

And here is my variant of the Lockon with some weapons and armour.

It is armed with two single shot rocks, one shoulder mounted assault shield and my version of the rainmaker artillery. Thank you to Artasid for giving me an LDD file to work off of.

I've had that claw design as an LDD template for a while now... Didn't realize that this is where I saw it!

Sorry for necroing over something so trivial!

Welcome Back VitorFaria, we've missed you.
As I said before, those shoulders are bad-ass. It's an interesting choice to use those inverted slopes (right name?) for armor. Love how it give it an angled 'ricochet' incoming projectile look.

Thanks again, Artasid! It is good to be back!

I had those inverted slopes loose on my desk right next to a naked Lockon, the inspiration came when I realized I could mash them together!

They do give it a nice beefy heavily-armored look.

How? How does this design manage to have so many ridiculously awesome variations!? Dude this latest one the Bunker Piker is one of my favorite variations of this model. And you say it's made from table scrap? Love it bro, love it!

The different weapons systems and arrays are a nice look, but man! that new head design, I thought there could not be much more you could do to make this variation look better, but you did. Very nice :)

Thanks, KungFugi!

And I kept iterating on that design, going deeper into some Heavy Gear style aesthetics, with some personal flair here and there, like that old submachine gun design I refuse to abandon!

Also, finally experimenting with that great "round tile into hinge plate" skating wells I always meant to try but never did.
