Single Set Challenge: 41539, 41540, 41541

My Single Set Challenge builds from the Frosticons2, the second tribe from Series5 Mixels.

Left to right:
MFZ-41539 Krog aka TBD
d6W d6W d6Rd d6Rd d6Rh d6Rh d6Y (carbine, energy blade, sensor)
MFZ-41540 Chilbo aka TBD
d6W d6W d6Rd d6Rd d6Ra d6Ra d6B (quad mortar, dual miniguns, leg armor)
MFZ-41541 Snoof aka TBD
d6W d6W d6Rd d6Rd d6Y d6Y d6G (cannons, dual sensors, quad)

- 41539 has lots of good bits, but not much for mixel balljoints. I spent a lot of time trying to get the arms/shoulders config better, but this is the best I could do.
- 41540 is in kind of a sweet spot for a 65pc set. A good balance of mixel balljoints, snot and enough structure to support a frame build. This is on my short list of fav SSC's. I was worried about the technic axle balljoint pcs as the only technic axle receiver in the set is the eyeballs, but they made passable guns.
- 41541 I like this quad but it's a little fragile. The balljoint plates are single stud connections to the body and the head is attached by about 3/4's of a stud underneath. Tossing symmetry, the balljoint chain for the sensors is quite efficient and provides a nice jaunty angle, but they'd be hard to remove in a game (best to snap off the 1x2 brick I think).

C&C solicited as always!

#2 has a a very complete look for an SSC. Nice rounded torso, articulated legs and two convincing weapon batteries. It's only the feet that give it away - I find feet the hardest thing when SSCing mixels.

#3 sounds pretty fragile, which is a shame. It's got a strong profile and prominent systems; the sensor pods in particular. I didn't think Snoof had many different builds in him, but I never considered a quad.

This is a great source of inspiration, with some cool building tricks.
