Single Set Challenge: 41536, 41537, 41538

My Single Set Challenge builds from the Klinkers, the first tribe from Series5 Mixels.

Left to right:
MFZ-41536 Gox aka TBD
d6W d6W d6Rh d6Rh d8Rh d8G (talon hand, crusher hand)
MFZ-41537 Jinky aka TBD
d6W d6W d6Rd / d6Ra d6Rd / d6Ra d6G d6B (twin railguns, roadrunner wheels, optional thigh armor pictured below)
MFZ-41538 Kamzo aka TBD
d6W d6W d6Rd d6Rd d6Ra d6Ra d6Y (cannon, missile box, multi-spectrum sensor)

- 41536 could make any number of good quads (the Mixel IS a quad), but I found it unexpectedly difficult to build a biped even with all the handles/clips and even more so to get systems from the remaining parts, of which there were a lot. There's a better frame hiding in the partslist, but I can't find it.
- 41537 has a very well rounded MFZ partslist considering the large specialty parts.
- 41538 has one small arm. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but when trying to make symmetrical base-frames it is. The extra claw helped make the one arm more usefully though.
- When I saw the two 4x4 round plates and all the brackets in 41538, I knew I wanted to make another "pod" like the one I made from 41529. Side by side they look like they could've come from the same factory; nice to get such consistency from two very different sets.
- These three sets have a great MFZ color palette with all the grey and black, and the brown and gold make for nice highlights.
- Overall, these three sets have very good partslists and if you were to combine them I think you could get even better frames and systems from them.

C&C solicited as always!

Middle one looks amazing, I could see myself fielding some chicken-walkers of that sort.

These guys are great. The pod is my favorite, but the middle one is also very good. (It might me Mad Max talking, but I think it looks like a muscle car made into a frame)

You did much (much) better with this tribe than I managed. Your Gox has great proportions and it's cool you went for a biped rather than the obvious quad.

I was amused to see you did roughly the same thing as me for Jinky, but yours is so much better-looking. Seriously impressed.

Even though this is resurrecting a relatively old thread: I feel the need to express how cool the Jinky build looks as a walker!
I recently bought and separated two of the 41537 sets for the parts, then stumbled upon this thread entry.
There will need to be some minor tweaks (color-matching, mostly), but the walkers look great mixed in with my Jerboas! 8-)
