F9G6 "Jotun"

A while back I bought a Wolf Legend Beast and tried to make a mech. The best I could do was a pathetic minifig-scale walking chair.

A few weeks later, I took that apart, and built this:

Just goes to show the value of second chances. I feel like it has a nice, kind of elephant-ish look.

I'm thinking d6W d6W for being a thing,
d6B d6B for the heavy armor plating,
d6Rh d6Rh d8Rh for the arm-mounted pile-bunker,
d8Rr for the shoulder-mounted flare gun,
and d8G for having no ranged weapons.

The F9G6 "Jotun" is like many other mobile frames used by Free Colonists, a labor frame that was pressed into combat. Designed to be used as a mining frame in hostile environments, its heavy-duty construction serves it well on the battlefield, and its pile-bunker arm is just as effective against enemy frames as it was against rocks.
Spoiler: show
There are rumors that the company that manufactured the Jotun had Free Colony sympathies, and heavy-duty mining was just a cover to get battle-ready frames into rebellious hands.
Always bring a speech to a gunfight.

Nice and beefy, and one of the better uses of the mixel ball joints that I've seen. Good utilization of the stickers too.
When the Weepers first came through the gate, we didn't know why. We only knew that they were angry.
