Hawkn's unimpressive mecha

Postby Hawkn » Thu Mar 29, 2012 12:07 am

So just a heads up, these are built with parts I already have, until my orders of (way too many) bricks get here (in like a month...). Also, I'm going to work on making them a bit smaller, and in scale with MFZ.

Warning, image heavy since there is no spoiler option.

The first was just a gundam sort of thing, and is a bit too large for MFZ.

The second is a Chub variant.

I'll be posting more once I make some cells of mecha that actually fit into the scale/universe, and aren't made using scraps.

Looks like the upper body and arms of a Chub, the legs of a MgN-30X, and the backpack of a Commisar.

The head looks like he's got a baseball cap on backwards. Have you tried turning those Plate 1x1 w/Clip Horizontal sideways or backwards?

I like putting Jumper plates on top of headlight bricks like that.

Yeah like I said, these were made with scraps, so a lot of the time it was like "crap, what can I use instead of X?".

If my design looks like it's copying someone, it probably wasn't on purpose, since I just recently started this miniature scale thing. I'm looking forward to getting the parts I ordered to mess around more.

Like the Chub variant, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it when you get your extra parts.

Regarding size, I'd say don't worry about what's too big for the game. There's a good little bit on that from "No B.S. Just A.B.S" here. I'd say if you and the other players are having fun, go with it!
"What do you put on your head to see all this stuff?"
