stationary frames

Postby milt69466 » Sat Dec 29, 2012 11:11 pm

I was wondering what I could do with this pile of stationary sitting on my desk. The CF(clip frames) are the result. All CF frames use rubber bands, post-it notes, and binder clips.
CF-07 Montar
Image
CF-07 Montar by milt69466, on Flickr
Highly changeable and sturdy, the Montar is the first in the line of CF frames. most likely going to be used as a main combat unit.
uses small binder clips x5 medium binder clips x1 rubber bands x 4
CF-07a Sentinal
Image
CF-07a Sentinal by milt69466, on Flickr
A variant of the CF-07, Sentinals are even more reliable than Montars. This is my personal favorite.

CF-02 Ferret
Image

The Ferret is a lightly armored recon frame. They are usually armed with light machine guns.
uses small binder clips x7 rubber bands x 2 post-it notes x1/2
CF-03 Scabard
Image
CF-03 Scabard by milt69466, on Flickr
An attempt at a "high legish" frame. They are taller than the CF-07 and I'm overall happy with them.

You are the person this game was made for. Those are incredible.
I worked on the setting and mecha design, but my opinions are personal. I am not the fun police.

Now you've gone too far. Calling the police to arrest you for multiple counts of being too hutching creative  Seriously, this the most innovative use of ordinary supplies I've ever seen. This will make sitting at my desk in school A LOT more fun. :D

This is exactly the kind of creative approach that MFZ is all about. Seriously, this shouldn't be in off topic, it should be moved to the main frame design area. I'll tell you one thing: I may have a burning loathing for Kreo, Megablox, and all that faux-Lego nonsense*, but stuff like this is just great.

Cheers,
Malcolm

*Maybe a slight exaggeration. "Mild dislike" or "ambivalence towards" would be more accurate.

Being all engines and not much else, the kakapo was originaly a race frame. Light weight and agile, the Kakapo is currently used as a ammo shipper or scout.
I personally love this frame. It's the first of my CF frames to feature an open cockpit and it took many tries to get it right
