First Frame

Here is my first frame, inspired by the Conscript made by Soren and Triple_ought's first frame.

Wow nice, I like it.

Something about that eye makes me think of Hal 9000, though. xD

Nice! I like the arms, especially, and the use of grills on the torso is pretty good. Nice color scheme, too.

I'd really like to see some variations on this guy: it looks like you've got a good, solid core to work with.

Thanks all!

Something about that eye makes me think of Hal 9000, though.

While I was building him my Droid 3 decided to reboot and the boot up sequence has a red eye on a black background. After I took the pictures I noticed the Hal 9000 likeness too. ;)

...Nice color scheme, too.

The color scheme was a fluke to be honest, that's the only color for the pieces I have at the moment!
I'm already thinking about variations, with a little production-background included. I think I'm going to go after a somewhat roman theme here. So the standard frame will be a Legionnaire, the heavy support (artillery) will be a Praetorian, the C2 frame the Centurion.

This is an awesome way to start your building "career!" That's a really solid frame with a lot of potential. I can't wait to see what else you put together.

I like the high shoulders on this one.

Thanks again everyone! I'm glad I didn't utterly fail at my first frame :D

Here's two more types, I wanted to keep the high shoulders and make it seem that in the production line once the core of the frame was built it can be loaded out in whatever configuration is on demand.

First is the heavy support, I thought MittenNinja's Iguana shoulder mounted weapons was an awesome idea and decided to do something similar to that:

Second is a Command and Control version, I'm not too sure on this one though:

As always, some more different views are on my flickr page.

Thanks!

Double post...

I changed the artillery weapons to rail/gauss weapons and switched the positions.
